The Pursuit of Mrs. Pennyworth was an interesting and quick read and my first book by Callie Hutton.
I was really curious to read this romantic suspense book, and I found some interesting parts, but I also was expecting something more from the storyline.
As the story progresses my curiosity related to Charlotte and Elliot’s relationship diminished because I found odd how the things progressed. But I was curious to read about the other characters and I really had a hard time figuring out who the stalker was. Also, during the narration, there are some twist and turns which make the storyline more intriguing.
Although this is not a genre I usually read, I spent some pleasant hours reading and discovering new clues and I like the author’s writing style.
In my opinion, this book deserves four out of five stars.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
